Scarring Treatment for post-acne scarring, lacerations or surgical scars may be treated with DMK Enzyme hydrolysation and other combination modalities such as Alkalines, AHAs, Mild to Moderate Peels, IPL, Laser, RF, Pixell, Dermabrasion and Micro Needling. Alkaline and Enzyme Therapy
Scarring appears red in the beginning but with time, healing occurs and white scar tissue forms. Treatments work best on Caucasian skin as they do not hyper-pigment as easily or as often. To revise scar tissue effectively and have a restorative effect we must remove and rebuild at the same time. We use the Alkaline solution which swells, softens and dissolves the area enough to stimulate the re-knitting mechanisms of the tissue.

Enzyme therapy utilises a specific blend of transfer messenger enzymes that increase the circulatory & lymphatic system. It stimulates cellular enzyme functioning, assisting growth, metabolism, cellular reproduction, assists our natural processes to enable the natural regeneration of the body to take place. Externally, Enzyme therapy breaks down cell build up, smooths and refines skin, naturally hydrolysing and turning dead protein into a weak acid & flushing it from the skin. Scarring is treated monthly.

An effective resurfacing and remodelling procedure, for those wanting scar revision and also can be used to treat age management, hyper pigmentation, fine and deep wrinkles, uneven skin tones, thickened skin, post acne scarring and after surgery scarring. This professionally applied formulation removes dead skin cells and instigates collagen development. The DMK Pro Alpha Six layer Peel is considered to have an effect similar to laser or medical peels without the risk of trauma, long convalescence or possible contra-indications.

The procedure takes 14 days, using an exclusive blend of Alpha and beta hydroxyl acids, applied systematically in layers, the number of layers and strength are adjusted for your specific desired result, skin colour, texture sensitivity and specific condition.
